To celebrate their involvement in Stormbound, the Sheepyard studio wanted to mark the occasion with a brand new card in their effigy: Rogue Sheep, a legendary pirate sheep!
Rogue Sheep is a legendary pirate hero who deals damage to enemies on death. Its strength and the damage they deal can be increased by leveling them up. Rogue Sheep can fit into decks that benefit from its massive area damage.
While Rogue Sheep's ability is similar to Bladestorm, its higher mana cost and on-death trigger helps it play in a much different way.
Rogue Sheep excels when it can deal damage to a lot of enemies like once. It can be very effect against decks that spawn a lot of small units.
You can choose not to trigger Rogue Sheep's ability on play and leave it alive so that it may deal damage on a later turn.
Play Rogue Sheep in a deck with lots of pirates to make the most out of its ability and deal the most damage. Note that Rogue Sheep will deal damage according to the number of pirates you have in hand upon the time of its death, not upon the time when you played it.
Rogue Sheep's name is based off of Sheepyard's CEO's name, Paweł Owczyński. His nickname, Owca, in English means sheep, which is also the namesake of Sheepyard.
