The tutorial is the first part of the game the player plays.

It contains 3 chapters, each one teaching the player about different characteristics of the game.

The tutorial will still be available to play after completing it by going to the Campaign and selecting Tutorial, from where you can select which chapter to play.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Throughout the tutorial, the player is led by Edrik the Fierce, who teaches the player several aspects of the game.

Chapter 1[edit | edit source]

In the first chapter, the player is taught the basics on how to play cards, frontline, strength, and movement. The CPU only has 1 base strength, and the player can only play Gifted Recruits and Warfront Runners (as well as Heroic Soldiers on later turns). The player's hand is also restricted to one card. Note that in the tutorial, all cards are level 1. The CPU only plays Corsair.

Upon completion, the player is given Veterans of War, Execution, and Bladestorm.

Chapter 2[edit | edit source]

In the second chapter, the player learns about mana and spells. The CPU now has 5 base strength, and the player has access to all cards used in the previous chapter as well as the three new cards rewarded earlier. The player now can hold 2 cards in their hand. The CPU's card pool has also increased to Corsair, Privateer, Boatswain, and Gunner.

The player is rewarded with Personal Servers, Fort of Ebonrock, and Felflares when the chapter is completed.

Chapter 3[edit | edit source]

In the final chapter, the player is taught about replacing cards. The CPU has 7 base strength, and the player once again has access to all previously unlocked cards. The player now can hold the regular amount of 4 cards in their hand, as well as access to the replacement feature. In this chapter, the CPU has access to more cards: all of the cards used before in addition to 4 new ones: Cult of the Sky, Sleetrunners, Mudgrinders, and Frenzied Troops.

Once completed, the player is given Green Prototypes, Call for Aid, and Conflicted Drakes.
